Entrepreneurs and start-ups looking for a place to grow should take a look at Wabash County because exciting things are happening here.
The Economic Development Group (EDG) of Wabash County can help connect new and existing businesses with experts who can provide much needed technical assistance in many areas such as capital access, legal, financial, management, and many others assist emerging and existing high-performing businesses in Indiana.
The EDG has also partnered with Manchester University’s College of Business to launch a new entrepreneurial support program called “Entrepreneur’s EDG”. Entrepreneur’s EDG will provide support for entrepreneurs to help them develop, launch and grow their businesses.
In collaboration with INGUARD Insurance of Wabash, Entrepreneur’s EDG will open the county’s first collaborative workspace in 2016. Located at the INGUARD headquarters in downtown Wabash, the workspace will provide students and entrepreneurs with a state-of-the-art workspace to help them develop and grow their businesses.
Entrepreneur’s EDG is currently serving entrepreneurs through a network of volunteer professionals. The program is also helping entrepreneurs through collaborations with the Northeast Indiana Small Business Development Center, Elevate Ventures, Manchester University, and others.
Entrepreneur’s EDG is a great example of Wabash County’s commitment to building a world-class entrepreneurial ecosystem. Like the entrepreneurs it serves, this innovative program is growing and will be announcing more exciting developments in the near future.
